This mother and daughter equestrian photo session took me to Paradise, Texas-- and that's what it felt like.. Paradise! After a couple days of stormy weather, the skies cleared and I was greeted by the perfect morning, the sweetest clients, and the goodest boy of them all- Henry. I feel like it's played out to say magic followed.. but it really did.
Nora and her mom Mallory were visiting the Lone Star State and wanted to capture this moment in time. Nora was celebrating a big birthday and like any horse girl, wanted to spend it surrounded by her favorite friends.
This session pulled on my heart strings because it embodies what it's like to love horses. Over the years, we may get a little jaded and beaten up along the way.. but at our core is a girl absolutely smitten by horses. It's more than just a pretty picture- it's the bond between us, the lessons they teach us, and the women they give us wings to become.
